“12/10. So happy we found this gem. We visit 1–2 different bakeries a day when we travel. We are breaking our tradition to have a second chance to eat here.”
Our story
Sixty-seven years of Scottish home baking.
Preacher's Patisserie has been baking on Lady Lawson Street since 1958 — a small, family-owned cafe serving breakfast rolls, coffee, scones, lunch and sweet treats to the folk of Edinburgh.
You'll find us on the ground floor of Edinburgh Books, a short walk from the Grassmarket and just down the hill from the Castle. Everything is baked in-house, and the weekly specials board is worth a look on your way in.
